Saturday afternoon
Sun shone, Lungegaardens Buekorps marched, seagulls caught bread in mid air. I ask for nothing more on a Saturday afternoon :D

A winter's morning
Since I have been raving quite a bit about the gray, mist, snow, rain and slush, I thought I'd post a picture that proves my point :)
Of mist and the red wall
The weather continues to be lousy - in that it is not great for taking the kind of pictures I like to take. I must make it clear that I usually don't complain about the weather, but on the contrary love rain and snow, much to the amusement of my Norwegian friends, who for the most part have a hearty preference for the sun.
The haze on the picture is from condensation on the lens. I am a sucker for red, so thought I'd post anyway. It couldn't take a temperature rise from -6 degrees to +20 degrees and completely fogged out as we entered this gorgeous cafe Vågen fetvare. Took this photo when the lens was demisting itself :)

Photo walk, Saturday
"Heaven is not a place, and it is not a time. Heaven is being perfect." - from Richard Bach's Jonathan Livingston Seagull.
Today weather turned every half hour and was as unpredictable as a tossed coin. It snowed quite a bit. These photos were taken in those fortuitous moments when the sun shone brightly. Met a jovial photographer/ reporter working for the local newspaper who took pictures of us feeding and photographing the ducks.
Pictures taken at 85mm, f7.1, 1/2000 and ISO 800.
Walking with all the camera gear on the back was exhausting and it was rather cold (-5 degrees C according to yr.no). So we dropped in at Vågen fetvare on Kong Oscars gate for hot cocoa with chili :D
